Why does my surround sound receiver take so long to process the audio? - receiver hdmi audio processing
I asked this question several times, and nobody was able to answer this correctly. So please, read the description carefully. I have is a DVD player with progressive scan. I connected to the TV via HDMI, so I connected the receiver via digital coaxial. The recipient can no HDMI audio on the speakers. That is why I joined via digital coaxial. The problem is that related to HDMI cable and a digital coaxial cable contradictory, because I do not turn off HDMI audio. Hear each time the DVD comes in a new book, I have the noise of less than one second, the receiver treats it for a few seconds (DVD logo disappears), then the game begins again (The receiver indicates the type of sound that is). The sound is not delayed, I can not hear the first seconds of the song. I can not connect via fiber optics in combination, because my DVD player is not an outlet for the. It is the receiver itself is the problem. My TV is not equipped with a digital output if you do not connect directly to the listener as the connection. How do I solve this problem? My DVD player is another Philips DVP5990. The receiver is a Sony STR-DH500.
